I met this woman over 25 years ago in the prison that I worked at the time. I remember Onika because she had that voice and face that stood out among everybody. Listen she was always encouraging, always recommending somebody and always feeding somebody. Sometimes she would actually pass up her meal to pass it on to others. She was always trying to take care of other people, I remembered she hollered out t ya’ll check on that girl that’s on suicide watch! That’s that what I remembered about Onika back then, but now I know, ya’ll know and we all respect her as APOSTLE ONIKA T. BROWN. I thank God for her life, drive and passion for ministry. Now listen ya’ll need to go ahead and get this book, I’m excited about everything she’s doing and it’s only up from here.
